Integrity of power plant components. Research performed by Professor K. Kussmaul at MPA Stuttgart
Description
The history of the Staatliche Materialpruefungsanstalt - the State Material Testing Institute - (MPA) Stuttgart is characterized by the scientific qualifications of its directors. During the 40 years of work at the MPA, Professor Karl Kussmaul has come up to the expectations of this tradition and has with his works firmly established the renowned 'Stuttgarter Schule' - the School of Stuttgart - founded by Bach. Die Geschichte der Staatlichen Materialpruefungsanstalt (MPA) Stuttgart ist durch die wissenschaftlichen Leistungen ihrer Leiter gepraegt. Professor Karl Kussmaul ist waehrend seiner 40jaehrigen Taetigkeit dieser Tradition gerecht geworden und hat mit seinen Arbeiten den Ruf der von Bach begruendeten 'Stuttgarter Schule' erfolgreich gefestigt. Der heute erreichte Stand anwendungsbezogener Forschung im Bereich der Anlagentechnik ist auf wesentliche Beitraege von Karl Kussmaul zurueckzufuehren. (orig.)Additional details
