Radionuclide transport in emergency situations

Description

The paper presents summarized scheme of the radionuclide migration, released in the atmosphere in NPP accidents. There is also presented the scheme of radionuclide migration in water, following an accident. A model is also presented of the migration of the radionuclides entering the organism in different ways of intake (ingestion, inhaling, wounds, absorption, injection). Dosimetric compartment models of the respiratory system and gastro-intestinal tract are presented, as well as a generalized compartment model of the metabolism of the radionuclides from entering the organism to their elimination. The systemic bio-kinetic models for some radionuclides are presented
