Problems of increasing NPP economical efficiency

Some ways of decreasing specific capitalized cost of NPP construction, applied in the developed countries are considered. It is shown that in the USA the NPP construction period is longer than in most european countries, and first of all, in France and Japan. Specific features of nuclear power in the USA and high requirement to NPP safety have caused activization of efforts on designing low- and mid-power reactors. French specialists raised a problem, that NPPs with 1300 MW reactors could operate under load-management conditions
