Alpha-decay widths of the 21.8 MeV, 6+-level of 16O
Description
Experimental angular correlation data, elsewhere published, obtained for 21.8 MeV, 6+-level of 16O, α-decaying to 12Csub(g.s.) and to 4.44 MeV, 2+-state of 12C, are fitted to a theoretical expression, containing the spectroscopic factor for 16O→12C+α break-up. Relative α-decay widths and spectroscopic factors, for the aforementioned 16O-level, are obtained from the fitting procedure. (author)
