Mass and energy characteristics of 239,241Pu fission products by thermal neutrons

Description
The mass and energy distributions of the thermal-neutron-induced 239Pu- and 241Pu-fission products in the mass number interval A=129-151 and kinetic energy range Ek=63-87 MeV have been measured. The fine structure is observed for the fission products of mass number A=138, 141 and 143 at lower values of Ek and of total kinetic energy Ektot. The distribution widths ΔA, ΔEk and ΔEktot are given that exibits structure peculiarities also. The mechanism which can induce the structure is discussed
