Description
The recent research and progress of the silicon photomultiplier (SiPM) in PET application were introduced. The 2.2 mm × 2.2 mm SiPM with bulk integrated quenching resistor was developed by Novel Device Laboratory (NDL). The SiPM was coupled with the 2 mm × 2 mm × 10 mm LYSO crystal. The result shows an energy resolution of SiPM is 12.8% and its coincidence time resolution is 564 ps by using FDG 511 keV photon. (authors)
