Elastic scattering of neutrinos by nuclei in an isotropic plasma

Description
The Standard Model of electroweak interactions has been used to calculate cross sections for scattering of neutrinos by a spinless nucleus and by a proton in a dense completely ionized plasma. The cross section for scattering of electron neutrinos differs significantly from the Born cross section. The cross sections for scattering of μ and tau neutrinos are practically no different from the Born cross sections
