Semiempirical prediction of electron affinities
Description
The electron affinites of the elements H through Ar have been obtained within the framework of a new semiempirical procedure. The agreement between the predicted and the presently accepted values suggests that the method may be of use in estimating the electron affinities of other elements. (auth)
