ModUlation method for β spectra studying
Description
The theoretical analysis of β-decay of nuclei in a slowly time-Varying homogeneous electric field is carried out. A new method for studying β spectra based on the analysis of frequency characteristics of time response of a β-detector measuring spectra is proposed. It is noted that the final results can be used while studying other types of decay (de-excitation of excited nuclear states by internal conversion, emission of Auger electron etc.)
