The Browns Ferry nuclear power unit 1 upon 22 year shutdown was updated and was put into operation May 2007. The unit rated power was increased, and the operating license was extended for 20 more years in addition to 40 year planned operation time

Пробыв в отключенном состоянии 22 года, ядерный энергоблок Brown Ferry 1 после модернизации вновь начал в мае 2007 г. работать в сети. Его номинальная мощность была увеличена, а лицензия продлена на 20 лет дополнительно к 40 годам первоначального срока эксплуатации
