Research and application of calculation methods of performance criteria of maintenance rule for Sanmen nuclear power plant

Description

The concept and the role of performance criteria of maintenance rule were introduced firstly on this paper. Secondly, Severe calculation methods of reliability and availability criteria were discussed in detail. For the example of service system of AP1000 SMNPC, reliability and availability criteria of A&B trains were estimated respectively by using two methods mentioned in this paper, than compared and verified with these calculation methods. Finally, reliability and availability criteria of A&B trains of service system conformed to the assumption of PSA. So the conclusions were that the methods mentioned in this paper could be applied to the calculation of performance criteria of maintenance rule in nuclear power industry. (authors)
