Synthesis and magnetic properties of YMnO3 nanorods
Description
YMnO3 nanorods have been synthesized by hydrothermal process at 200 deg C. The hexagonal phase of as-synthesized sample was confirmed by powder X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. High resolution scanning electron microscope (HRSEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis have been carried out to study the surface morphology and elements presence in the sample. The magnetic behavior of the sample was studied by vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM) technique. (author)
