Monitoring the environmental radiation at the Chacaltaya Cosmic Ray Laboratory

Description
After a brief summary of the results obtained up to now by a world wide survey of the Environmental Radiation, it is discussed the possibility of operating a compact scintillation NaI(Tl) detector at the Chacaltaya Cosmic Ray Laboratory in order to monitor with continuity the low energy secondary cosmic radiation and radioactivity, airborne and from environment matter
