Heavy quarkonium out of the potential model

Description
Three classes of problems related to the dynamics of heavy quarkonium are considered: the level spectroscopy annihilation decays and hadron transitions between the quarkonium levels. Properties of deep-lying quarkonium levels for superheavy quarks are mainly determined by the Coulomb-like potential of gluon exchange. The widths of heavy quarkonium annihilation to hadrons are of interest in connection with discussing non-perturbative effects. These effects of hadron annihilation are related to the transformation of the colorless pair, q anti q to the color one. Hadron transitions between the levels of heavy quarkonium with emission of two pions or eta-mesons is studied in the framework of multipole decomposition for the interaction of quarkonium with soft gluons
