The use of correcting coils for forming the isochronous field of the U-400 cyclotron at the reduced level of the magnetic field
Description
Results of the experiments and simulation of ion acceleration performed on the reduced magnetic fields of the U-400 cyclotron are presented. 30-50% saving of the consumable power has been achieved. A possibility of fine tuning the energy of extracted ions in the range of 5-10% has been evolved. (author). 3 refs., 3 figs., 1 tab
