Description
The transport containers for fuel elements of LWR are stored in a room of the reprocessing plant. They are provided with coolant junctions that can be coupled in the room with the corresponding coolant tubes. For this a remote controlled manipulator is used that unlocks or shuts the joints. The manipulator is movable in horizontal and vertical direction by means of motors. (GL)

Die Transportbehaelter fuer BE aus LWR werden in einem Raum der Entsorgungsanlage abgestellt. Sie sind mit Kuehlanschluessen versehen, die in dem Raum mit entsprechenden Kuehlmittelleitungen gekuppelt werden koennen. Hierzu dient ein fernbedienbarer Manipulator, der die Kupplung loesen und schliessen kann. Der Manipulator ist in horizontaler und vertikaler Richtung mittels Motoren bewegbar. (GL)Files
