  • 1. Khar'kovskij Gosudarstvennyj Univ. (Ukrainian SSR)

Description

Results of measuring temperature dependence of x-ray interference intensities on terbium monocrystal hcp lattice basis plane (001) in 140-272 K temperature interval, including the area of realization of phase transitions of the second type-paramagnetism (P)-SS type helicoidal antiferromagnetism-'simple spiral' (SS↔P, TN∼230 K) and of the first type-helicoidal antiferromagnetism-collinear ferromagnetism (F) (SS↔F, Tc∼220 K) are presented. The character of anomalous temperature dependence of terbium x-ray interference intensity completely agrees with elasticity coefficient c33 behaviour
