Cosmic-ray transmitted images
Description
Empirical formulas for transmission of cosmic-rays are presented to estimate the size of detectors and counting time required in obtaining optimum images of the materials to be tested. Some examples of three-dimensional representation are demonstrated to show how powerful the cosmic-rays are for inspecting huge structural materials and to illustrate difference between transmitted images and actual structures.
