Nuclear power, a success story with good prospects for the future in the USA
Description
Commercial operation of nuclear power plants has become a successful business in the USA. Although there have been some difficult times and experiences in recent years, the nuclear power industry represents a substantial segment of the economy of the USA. It can be expected that nuclear power generation will continue to be an important energy technology well into the future. (orig./CB)

Die kommerzielle Nutzung der Kernenergie in den USA ist keine Utopie geblieben, sondern bildet trotz aller zwischenzeitlichen Schwierigkeiten und Stimmungstiefs einen wesentlichen Bestandteil ihrer Wirtschaft. Auch im US-amerikanischen Kraftwerkspark der Zukunft koennte die Kernenergie einen weiterhin wichtigen Platz einnehmen. (orig./CB)Additional details
