Some results of the narrow-band photometry of Halley comet (1986 III)

Description

The narrow-band photometric observations of comet Halley in the filters CN, C3, C2. H20+, CU, CB, CR during October-November 1985 are presented. Molecular column densities and gas dust production rates Q are calculated. Photometric parameters n for CN(n=3,36), C3 (3,77), C2 (3,80) in the law Q∞rn are obtained. The dust production rates in the comet during October-December are investigated. November 15, 1985 outburst power (2x106) g/s) is estimated. Analysis of gas and dust ratio as a function of heliocentric distance r is given
