Survey of recent results and ideas from RGM investigations
Description
A review is given of results of recent resonating-group method investigations, and it is discussed how these results are used to obtain a better understanding of such features as the importance of the Pauli principle in nuclear reactions and the structure of the nucleus - nucleus potential. It is seen how the resonating-group method itself can provide a basis for the construction of realistic approximate models. 60 references
