Detection of coronary artery disease with phase analysis of gated blood pool studies at rest and during exercise

Description
Generating of phase and amplitude of the first Fourier component of gated blood pool studies of the heart are used for analysis of left ventricular wall motion. In a study population consisted of volunteers and patients with coronary artery disease, valvular disease or conjective cardiomyopathy an equilibrium radionuclide angiogram was performed at rest and during exercies. Phase analysis seems to provide a highly specific method for detection of regional abnormalities with ischemia. (WU)
