Application of quantum chromodynamics to high transverse momentum hadron production
Description
The application of QCD (Quantum Chromodynamics) to high transverse momentum hadron production is described, and single particle and jet cross-sections and correlation measurements are discussed. The theory is in reasonable accord with the data although uncertainties in the theory and technical ambiguities (mainly caused by the low transverse momentum of most of the data) make incontrovertible conclusions impossible
