- 1. Institute of Nuclear Energy Research, Taoyuan (Taiwan, Province of China)
- 2. Taiwan Power Company, Taipei (Taiwan, Province of China)
Description
The incineration plant of 100 kg/hr throughput is designed, constructed and tested by the Institute of Nuclear Energy Research (INER), to treat low level combustible waste of nuclear power plants of Taiwan Power Company. The construction of the plant started in July 1988. In January 1990 system cold test was carried out. After some betterment, hot function test was accomplished in August 1990. From the above mentioned tests, it shows that design requirements such as throughput, volume reduction and decontamination factor, etc. are met. This paper describes the process and tests, with problems encountered during tests and the betterments taken
