Magnetostriction effects in restricted magnetic materials under spin reorientation

Description
It is shown that in some cases the stable state proves to be a spatial nonhomogeneous one under spin-reorientation phase transition. Special attention is given to magnetostriction effect responsible for spontaneous bending deformation of a thin plane-parallel plate of a tetragonal ferromagnet
