Spin effects and electromagnetic properties of W and Z0-bosons in reactions γe±→W±ν, Z0e±

Description

The processes of intermediate W± and Z0-bosons production are considered in polarized beams of photon-electron collisions: γ+e±→ Z0+e± (a), γ+e±→W±+νe (b). The influence of anomalous magnetic dipole (HW) and electric quadrupole (λW) moments of W-boson on the characteristics of reactions (b) is researched, and the CP-violation effects in reaction (a) caused by the existence of possible anomalous magnetic dipole (HZ) and electric quadrupole (λZ) moments of Z0-boson are exposed. It has been shown, in particular, that if the colliding electron (positron) and photon beams have the same helicity, then the cross-section of process (a) is very sensitive to changes of electromagnetic parameters HZ and λZ of vertex ZZγ when energy √S→mZ. The measuring of right-left asymmetry of reaction (b) cross-sections by photon helicities near the production threshold of W-boson would allow us to evaluate the values of electro-magnetic parameters HW and λW of vertex WWγ, when considerable deviation from standard electroweak model can be observed
