Preparation of 13N-amines by reduction of 13N-amides
- 1. National Inst. of Radiological Sciences, Chiba (Japan)
Description
An improved method for preparing 13N-amines by LiAlH4 reduction of 13N-amides using an organic solution of 13N-ammonia as a labelling precursor is described. Biodistribution studies of 13N-phenylethylamine and 13N-octylamine in mice show an accumulation of radioactivity in the brain and the heart. (UK)
