Orientation dependence of germanium crystal K-ionization at relativistic electron channeling

Description
Orientation dependence of germanium crystal K-ionization cross section by 900 MeV electrons is measured for the first time. Increase of characteristic X-radiation yield, i. e. change of K-ionization cross section observed in the angular range of Θ<3 mrad is shown to take place during electron motion along the axis. Lindhard angle is equal to ΘA=0.7 mrad
