Description
We determined the isomeric yield ratios for the natFe(γ, xnp)52m,g Mn reaction induced by 50, 60, and 70 MeV Bremsstrahlung by the activation and γ-ray spectroscopic methods. The Bremsstrahlung beams were provided from the test Pohang electron linac. The samples used in this investigation were natural iron foils. The isomeric yield ratios were determined from the measured activities of the product nuclei in foil samples that had been irradiated. The γ-ray activities were measured with a calibrated high-purity germanium detector, HPGe. The present results for the reaction nat Fe(γ, xnp)52m,g Mn measured at 50, 60, and 70 MeV Bremsstrahlung are 0.27 ±0.03, 0.33±0.04 and 0.34±0.04, respectively. The dependence of the isomeric yield ratios on the incident Bremsstrahlung energies is discussed. (author)
