Safety engineering assessement of R+D work on direct ultimate storage of spent fuel and heat generating radwaste. Final report
Description
Within the framework of this SR 2013 project, the GRS was to perform the safety engineering assessment of preparatory work and performance of tasks defined by the BMFT (Min. of Research and Technology) in its R+D programme for direct ultimate storage of HTR and LWR spent fuel assemblies, and to identify and describe the activities under this project that are subject to licensing under the Atomic Energy Act. In connection with the dual-purpose waste management concepts also forming part of the project, the tasks defined included assessment of work involving MAW and HAW. (orig.)

Aufgabe der GRS in Zusammenhang mit diesem Vorhaben SR 2013 war es, die Entwicklung und Durchfuehrung der vom BMFT im Rahmen eines F+E-Programms veranlassten Arbeiten zur Direkten Endlagerung von HTR- und LWR-Brennelementen sicherheitstechnisch zu begleiten und hinsichtlich ihrer genehmigungstechnischen Relevanz zu bewerten. Im Rahmen der Bewertung von Mischkonzepten bei der Endlagerung wurde die Aufgabenstellung auch auf MAW und HAW erweitert. (orig.)Additional details
