Reactions of UCl3(THF)x (THF=tetrahydrofuran) with poly(pyrazolyl) borates and sodium cyclopentadienide

Description
Reactions of the title compound with different stoichiometries of KHnBL4-n (where n=1,2 and L=3,5-dimethylpyrazolyl) have been studied and the compounds UCl2H2BL2 and UCl2HBL3 identified. The preparation of UCl2H2BL'2py (L'=pyrazolyl, py=pyridine) is reported. The reactivity of UCl2H2BL'2THF with sodium cyclopentadienide in tetrahydrofuran and toluene has been studied. (orig.)
