Study of proton hole states in 63Cu and 63Co. Pt. 2

  • 1. Max-Planck-Inst. fuer Kernphysik, Heidelberg (Germany)

Description

The γ-decay of proton hole states in 63Cu and 63Co was studied by 64Zn, 64Ni(d, 3He γ) concidence experiments at Ed=31 MeV using germanium diodes for high-resolution γ-spectroscopy. For final excitations in 63Cu and 63Co up to 5 and 3.6 MeV, respectively, the measurements yield precise transition and excitation energies, branching ratios and lifetimes using the Doppler-shift attenuation method. Both the mean properties of the strengths distributions presented in part (I) of this investigation as well as the γ-decay properties are shown to be compatible with the predictions of a very simple phonon-hole coupling model.
