Non-destructive determination of chromium in steels by means of thin-layer chromatography

Description

The simple and nondestructive method for the determination of chromium in steels is described. Sampling of microamounts of material was carried out by anodic dissolving and determination of chromium was carried out by quantitative thin layer chromatography. Obtained results are suitable for caracterization of steels. (orig.)

Abstract (German)

Ein einfaches Verfahren zur Chrombestimmung in Staehlen mittels Chromatographie ohne Zerstoerung des Werkstoffs wird beschrieben. Die Muster der Mikromengen werden durch anodische Aufloesung entnommen. Fuer die Chrombestimmung in den so entnommenen Mustern wurde die Duennschicht-Chromatographie angewendet. Die Pruefungsergebnisse ermoeglichen die chemische Kennzeichnung der Staehle. (orig.)
