Description
A novel method for the quantitative analysis of the six species present in a mixture of the three isotopes of hydrogen was devised. It is based on in situ measurements of the thermal conductivity of the mixture and of the ionization current due to the tritium. The concentrations of the mixed species are calculated from the equilibrium constants. The accuracy of the method is about 1% absolute. (Auth.)
