Confinement of laser-produced plasma in resonant cavities by rf electromagnetic fields

Creators

  • 1. Atomic Energy Commission, Washington, DC

Description

Pressure and energy balance calculations are described for such a system. Radiofrequency power requirements and maintenance of a superconductor near a thermonuclear plasma are discussed. Some requirements for an actual experiment are given. (MOW)
