Description

This paper describes the establishment of a Periodic Safety Review (PSR) project for ETRR-2 research reactor based on the IAEA safety standards and the supporting safety guides. Various elements of the project, including the PSR objectives and scope, review approach and methodology, and findings and their categorization are discussed. Outputs of the project phases of PSR, including the Basis Document, safety factor review reports, and global assessment as well as the regulatory aspects and management system of PSR are also described and discussed.
