Crystal structure and magnetic properties of films of Sm, Gd and Tb compounds with 3d-metals of Laves phase type

Description
Formation conditions are discussed of metallic Laves phases in a thin-film state. The corresponding lattice parameters in the films with and without substrate have been found. Moreover, the methods of approximation and frequency analysis have provided the values of substructure elements (the regions of coherent scattering and microstresses). The major effect on the behaviour of magnetic and magnetoelastic properties under consideration is due to the phase composition and crystalline structure
