On the positon decay of 101Pd
Description
The positon spectrum emitted in the decay of 101Pd to 101Rh has been investigated with a double-focussing spectrometer. Two positon branches were found with end-point energies (and intensities) of 776 ± 4 keV (5.95 ± 0.30%) and 488 ± 12 keV (0.41 ± 0.08% of the total decay). Both branches have log ft-values compatible with allowed transitions. The 101Pd Q-value was determined to be 1 982 ± 4 keV.
