13th international conference on solid state nuclear track detectors

Information is presented on the conference, held in Rome between 23 and 27 Sep 1985. Contributed papers related to the following main subject areas: basic mechanisms of track production; detection techniques; applications in physics; applications in biology and radiation protection; applications in earth sciences and dating; technological applications. Preliminary applications for the conference were received for more than 270 communications to be presented. (J.B.)
