Directional correlations of the gamma rays in the 166Er

Description
Directional correlations of γ-γ were found for 166Er leading to determination of the multipolarity of 2.173 keV transition. Preparation of the radioactive sources is introduced. Measurements of the γ-γ directional correlations are described. The results of all experiments are discussed. (author)
