Description

The 100 keV Daresbury On-Line Isotope Separator (DOLIS) is operational at SERC's Nuclear Structure Facility (NSF) at Daresbury. A variety of ion sources are available and make DOLIS a versatile separator suitable for a range of implantations. Extensive nuclear spectroscopic studies are being carried out, primarily by the low temperature nuclear orientation (LTNO) technique. Details of the experimental facilities at Daresbury and the solid state aspects of some of the recent results will be presented. (author)
