Description
Oxygen effect on nuclianical properties of welded joints of zirconium cast aloy with 2.5%Nb in the concentrations range of 0.05 approximately 0.4% inmediately after welding in helium and annealing is considered. It is shown that with oxygen concentration increasing joints strensth rises from 520 up to 980 MPa. Optimal combination of strength characteristics with plasticity and impact strengh is present in welded joints of alloys, containing up to 0.15% of oxygen. Increasing in testing temperature up to 870 K leads to oxygen strengthening effect decrease. Ultimate strength of such compounds is 260 and 290 MPa
