Detection of hypovascular hepatic metastases at triple-phase helical CT: sensitivity of phases and comparison with surgical and histopathologic findings

A comparative evaluation of triple-phase helical CT in presented as a diagnostic technique in pre-surgical approach of hypo vascular hepatic metastases. The sensitivity of the method and its relationship with of the phases is studied. Intraoperative ultrasonography and histopathology are used as reference indicators. Sixty patients are evaluated from August 1997 to June 2002
