Study of interaction of Bi2X3 with Cr2X3 (X-S, Te)

Description
Interaction of Bi2X3 with Cr2X3 (x=S, Te) was first investigated by the physicochemical and X-ray diffraction methods. The Bi2S3-Cr2S3 (1) section was demonstrated to be quasi-binary with singular eutectics. The existence of new ternary compounds as was incongruently melted: BiCrS3 (906 deg C) was revealed on the 1 cross section. The Bi2Te3-Cr2Te3 cross section was nonquasi-binary without new ternary phases. 9 refs., 3 figs
