Hartree-fock equations with large K quantum number
Description
Hartree-Fock equations are written with a J2 constraint term added to the nuclear Hamiltonian. It is shown how to obtain self-consistent solutions of these equations, retaining axial symmetry but without time-reversal symmetry. Example has been given for 18 protons in an oscillator shell of degeneracy 32 and 8 neutrons in a shell of degeneracy 44 for which K = 0 self-consistent solution of these equations has been obtained.
