Description

The article is a review of the progress of in the understanding of the nuclear many-body problem from high precision data on nuclear charge and current densities. The experimental data are compared to the predictions of the classic nuclear many-body theory which is based on non-relativistic interactions between nucleons. Refs, 22 figs, 3 tabs
