Possibilities for utilizing the landfill gas as primary energy source
Description
The present report aims to explore the possibilities for utilizing the landfill gas as primary energy source. The mechanism for generating landfill gas has been examined. The structure and the biogas flow in the re-cultivated part of Suhodol landfill are analyzed as well as its energy potential. The results obtained are compared with the results from other solid waste depots in some EU countries
