Description

The electrochemical behaviour of nickel in the Na2WO4 melt and possibility of the molybdenum (tungsten)-nickel alloys electroplating from this melt are studied. It is shown that the molybdenum (tungsten)-nickel alloys may be deposited on the cathode from the oxide melts in the form of continuous layers. The deposit composition and structure may be controlled by changing the concentration of the corresponding components in the melt, the current temperature and cathode density. The increase in the nickel content in the melt is explained obviously by increase in the share of the general current, intended for the nickel deposition and by decrease in the diffusion Bremsstrahlung for the ions of the more electrically negative component of the alloy
