X-ray fluorescence analysis of zircalloy-2 and 4

Description
A method for the analysis of Sn, Fe, Cr and Ni in zircalloys, by X-ray fluorescence, is presented. Calibration curves for these elements were plotted within a concentration range useful to the analysis of both zircalloy-2 and 4. A zircalloy-4 sample was particularly chosen for the present work. The sample was prepared by the double layer pressed tablets method. (C.L.B.)

Apresenta-se um metodo de analise para os elementos Sn, Fe, Cr e Ni por fluorescencia de raios-X em zircaloys. Foram construidas curvas de calibracao para os elementos citados utilizando uma faixa de concentracao util tanto para a analise de zircaloy-2 ou 4. A amostra escolhida para realizacao deste trabalho foi zircaloy-4. Optou-se, para a preparacao de amostras, pelo metodo de pastilhas prensadas de dupla camada. (Autor)Additional details
