Superconductivity at 23 K in A15 Nb3(Ge,Si) prepared by CVD

Description
High-T/sub c/ A15 Nb3(Ge,Si) superconductors have been prepared by chemical vapor deposition. Films obtained after deposition have been examined by x-ray diffraction, chemical analysis, and transmission electron microscopy. Structural and superconducting properties are discussed. Onset of 23 K is obtained. Heat treatments are suggested to improve the order and T/sub c/ of inhomogeneous materials
